For fourteen consecutive years, Sintec carried out one of the most important events of the business world in Mexico: Executive Visum 2012. The hub of this event for upper management had as its goal to contribute to the updating and relationships of decision-makers in Mexico, focusing on the topic of “Strategic Perspectives of Growth and Profitability.”
Sintec brought together more than 150 business managers of leading Mexican companies, as AAK, Aeroméxico, Axtel, Banorte, Barcel, Coca Cola Femsa, Colgate Palmolive, Comex, Compartamos Banco, Convermex, Farmacias del Ahorro, Grupo Bimbo, Interceramic, Jugos del Valle, Mabe, Qualtia Alimentos, Xignux, among others.
The event began with a welcome by Oscar Lozano, Sintec Managing Partner. Thanking all the guests for their participation at this year’s event.
Later, Jorge Castañeda Gutman, Former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mexico, talked about “Economic Perspectives and its impact on the leader companies in Mexico”. Castañeda mentioned the importance of taking into account variables such as the political environment and the political affairs, he said that Mexico is a consumerist country with a high growth potential. So Mexico is 10 years of being a prosperous, equitable and democratic.
Later on Jesus Garcia presented “The Organization as part of the Business Strategy”. Through a dynamic of questions and answers about 4 principal themes: culture and leadership, competition, organizational structure and management practices.
The third speaker was Antonio Leonardo, CEO of Farmacias del Ahorro, who presented his company experience, supported with a video were his father Max Leonardo, founder of Farmacias del Ahorro gave a brief introduction of how the business started.
The event concluded with a presentation by Daniel Servitje, CEO of Grupo Bimbo, who talked about the origins of his enterprise and then showed how Grupo Bimbo is positioned in the market nowadays. He shared their product range and its impact at the food market, their labels, some of the organization values and the social compromise that Grupo Bimbo has managed until now.
This year Executive Visum was attended by two sponsors: Oracle and Volkswagen Coyoacan, who were at the event interacting with the participants.
