According to Oscar Lozano, these factors are often neglected by executives and represent a high risk to hinder or limit strategic opportunities. Any change in strategy and processes should include comprehensive changes in the organization; otherwise probably top executives will fail. Specifically, the work culture becomes crucial for value creation, and there are involved many others universal behaviors to take into account, such as collaboration, commitment, honesty, quality and innovation.

The key to lead the organization trough a momentum lies in the ability of the CEO to implement a more open system that allows capturing the market insights. This involves being directly in the market and the street, direct and personal contact with the sales force, and seeking diversity in the company to detect successfully and pursue new opportunities.
